Let’s face it. All seasoning mixes that you can buy in the store are simply a combination of herbs and spices that someone put together for our “convenience” and their ability to charge us a small fortune to purchase. A few years ago I started to wise up and figured out that I can make my own combinations from ingredients I already had on hand. Poultry seasoning is one of them! How many times have you been ready to season that Turkey and realized you were out of seasoning and had to make a last minute run to the store? Nothing genius about it. I just looked at the ingredients listed on the label of the store bought seasoning and put together my own little combination. Try this one. I think you’ll like it. Remember if you like one herb more than another, simply add a little more to suit your taste.
