I’ve tried so many combinations of herbs to get just the “right” flavor. This one is my favorite. If you like yours a bit thinner, just add a tad more milk until it suits your taste. Made “thick” as this is, it makes a great dip for fresh veggies!
Herbed Creamy Ranch Dressing
Tarragon may not be something you keep in your Pantry. It's OK to leave it out, but I find it adds an extra "something" to this salad dressing making it a step above all others.
*All the herbs are "dried" not fresh, in this recipe.
Ingredients
- 3/4 TBSP Parsley
- 1 Tsp Chives
- 1/2 Tsp Oregano
- 1/2 Tsp Tarragon
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 3/4 Tsp Lemon Pepper
- 1-1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Cup good Mayonnaise do not use Salad Dressing
- 1 Cup dairy Sour Cream I don't think low fat holds together as well as regular
- 1/4 Cup Milk
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill for several hours to blend flavors. Keep refrigerated.
